Physical Therapy
Physical therapy provides specialized interventions to individuals to improve their physical abilities, mobility, and overall quality of life. At The Shirley Aninias School our physical therapy incorporates activities and exercises to promote the development of gross motor skills, such as running, jumping, climbing, kicking, throwing, and catching.
Our therapists collaborate with head teachers, parents and other professionals to modify physical education activities and sports to accommodate the needs of students with disabilities to ultimately promote participation and inclusion.
Physical therapy is provided by a New York State licensed physical therapist and 1:1 individual sessions are within our state of the art sensory gym.
Physical Therapy is an additional service and provided through supplemental tuition addendums as needed.
